and Israel Combination Tour ( 15 Nights / 16 Days )
Day 01: Arrive Tel-Aviv (Ben Gurion) airport where you will be met by our representative
who will help you with your immigration and customs formalities,
later you will be transferred to your hotel, the Yamit for an overnight.
Day 02: Breakfast,
then visit Beit Hatefutsot , the Museum of the Jewish Diaspora on
the campus of the Tel Aviv University. See the displays depicting
the history
and traditions of the Jewish people. Proceed to Caesarea, the one time Roman
capital of the country for a visit to the Roman and Byzantine ruins. See the
moat surrounded city, the aqueduct and the theater. Continue to Acre and visit
the underground Crusader city including St. John's Crypt and the Knight's Halls.
See the Turkish baths and the Pisan Harbor. (B)
Day 03: Breakfast, then enjoy the magnificent view of the city of Haifa , the
port and the bay from the top of Mount Carmel. Visit the golden domed Bahai
Shrine and the beautiful Persian Gardens around it. Proceed through the hills
of the upper Galilee to Safed, center of the Kabala - the Jewish mysticism.
Visit the old synagogues and the narrow alleys of the artist quarter. Proceed
to the Golan Heights. Dinner and overnight at the Ayelet Hashachar Kibbutz guesthouse
for an overnight in Upper Galilee. (B, D)
Day 04: Breakfast, then visit Capernaum, where
Jesus lived and taught. Continue to Nazareth for a visit to the
Church of Annunciation, Joseph's Workshop and Mary's Well. Proceed
to Tiberias for a visit to the ancient ruins of Hamat Tiberias,
including the mosaic floor of the ancient synagogue. Proceed to
Beit Shean and through the Jordan Valley to Jericho, the oldest
city in the world. Visit the Tel, the ancient walls and the watch
tower. Proceed through the Judean wilderness to Jerusalem. (B)
Day 05: Breakfast, then enjoy a magnificent view
of the city of Jerusalem from the top of Mount Scopus and the Mount
of Olives. Enter the Old City and visit the Armeian, Jewish, Christian
and Moslem quarters, including the Cardo, the Herodian Mansions,
the Western Wall, Temple Mount, the Way of the Cross (Via Dolorosa),
the Holy Sepulcher and the bazaars. In the afternoon visit the room
of the Last Supper on Mount Zion and King David's Tomb. Proceed
to Bethlehem and visit the Church of the Nativity. Return to Jerusalem
for overnight. (B)
Day 06: Breakfast, and start a day of sightseeing in new Jerusalem. Visit the
Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Proceed to Yad
Vashem Holocaust Memorial and on to Ein Kerem, birthplace of John the Baptist
where you will also see the Chagall stained glass windows at the Hadassah Medical
Center. Proceed to the model city of Jerusalem as it appeared 2000 years ago.
In the afternoon, visit the Israel Museum, then visit the Knesset-Israel's Parliament
and the Me norah. View the Ram Hill Campus of the Hebrew University. Overnight
in Jerusalem. (B)
Day 07: Breakfast, and a day at leisure for swimming or last minute shopping.

Day 08: Breakfast, then depart
Israel by bus via an air conditioned motor coach for your trip to Cairo via
the Rafah border, clear immigration and customs at
both the Israeli and the Egyptian border, arrive Cairo where you will be met
by our representative, transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 09: Breakfast, then drive to Memphis on the
edge of the western desert, the capitol of the ancient kingdom,
and one of the most important cities throughout the history of ancient
Egypt. From here we drive to Sakkara, the vast necropolis of ancient
Memphis. P.M. drive to the pyramids of Giza. Cheops pyramid, the
largest of the three, was built in the 3rd dynasty about 2690 B.C.,
and is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world . Enjoy a camel
ride by the pyramids if you wish. In front of the pyramids of Chepren,
we find the Sphinx carved from a single piece of stone, it is a
lion with a pharaoh's head thought to be a portrait of the pharaoh
Chephren. Return to your hotel for an overnight. (B)
Day 10: Breakfast, then you will be met and transferred
to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor, upon arrival at Luxor
airport, you will be met and transferred to embark your cruise ship.
Lunch then visit the temple of Karnak and the temple of Luxor. Dinner
and overnight on board ship. (B, L, D)
Day 11: Breakfast, then cross to the west bank, visit the Necropolis of Thebes,
tomb of King Tut, temple of queen Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari and Colossi of
Memnon, lunch, P.M. sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board ship. (B, L,
D)
Day 12: Breakfast, then visit the temple of god
Khnum. Sail to Edfu P.M.. Visit the temple of Horus. Sail to Kom-Ombo.
Lunch, dinner and overnight on board cruise ship. (B, L, D)
Day 13: Breakfast, then visit the Temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris.
Sail to Aswan. P.M. visit the botanical gardens and the Agha Khan Mausoleum
by Felucca. Lunch. Dinner and overnight on board cruise ship. (Abu-Simbel flight
with sightseeing is available as an optional tour for only $219 additional).

Day 14: Breakfast, then visit the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Unfinished
Obelisk. Disembark your cruise ship where you will be met and transferred to
Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo, upon arrival at Cairo airport you
will be met and transferred to your hotel, the Cairo Marriott Hotel for overnight.

Day 15: Breakfast, then start your tour visiting the Egyptian Museum famous
for its antiquities from Egypt's Pharaonic period, which dates back some 50
centuries and includes the fabulous treasures of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. Afternoon
excursion to Old Cairo, visiting the very old Coptic Churches and the oldest
Jewish Synagogue of Beni Ezra. Continue your visit to a Mosque and the medieval
Bazaars of Khan-El-Khalili, where you can bargain for your jewelry and hand-tooled
leather items. Return to your hotel for overnight. (B)
Day 16: Breakfast, then you will be met by our
representative and transferred to Cairo airport, where you will
be helped with your check-in and immigration formalities for your
international flight back home.
